American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course

Would you like to teach others important life-saving skills? If so, get certified as an American Red Cross certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and teach the base-level courses within the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program. As an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider with certified Red Cross Instructor Trainers, we are happy to be able to provide this course to interested instructor candidates.

Course Highlights:

• Learn to teach others important life-saving skills through skills practice, practice
• Blended format (short online prerequisite followed by full day of classroom training)
• Certification is for teaching both Adult and Pediatric life-saving skills
• Meets the MN mandated 6-hour (6 CEU) training requirement for protective agents – completion of course is worth 8 CEU’s for MN Protective Agents

Key Topics: Skills practice and polish, conducting effective skills practices, conducting effective testing scenarios, providing individual feedback and facilitating global feedback as part of the learning process, understanding accommodations, teaching quality courses, becoming an effective instructor, and understanding the Red Cross Learning Center.
